1st place - $150

General Rules

 

• The C.O.E Tournament pools will run for 4 Weeks between November 23rd to Dec 21st

 

• Pools - Pool matches will be played in the first 3 weeks. During Pools, players will be able to challenge other players in the tournament as many times as they'd like.

• Finals -  4 Players will advance to the Finals. These 4 players will play in a double elimination style bracket to determine the winner of the tournament. 

• Players may challenge another specific player 3 times per week.

 

Points and Match Rules

 

Each player starts off the tournament with 0 points. Players must earn points by playing matches. The top 4 players with the highest points at the end of pools will enter the finals.

Players in pools will play a single Game of COE against an opponent.

​

Players in the Finals will play 2 out 3 Games, instead of single matches.

 

Engagement Points

 

When players play matches, they gain 5 points for playing the match, regardless if the match results in a win or a loss. The winning player gains an additional 5 points.

 

Wagers

 

Players may also choose to wager up to 15 points on their match. (Both Players must consent to the wager amount)

 

If players wager, the winning play will take the losing players points. In a wager match, neither player gets engagement points. Its Winner takes all!

Stalling Rules

 

If a player fails to play a match within a week's time, starting from their last match played, they will lose 10 points.

 

Reporting Match Results

 

Match results must be reported in the COE discord (in the "match results" channel) to be counted. This will act as a record for all players. Points will be visible and updated on the COE website: HERE

 

Tournament Deck Rules

​

• Players must Build a deck using Season 1 cards only.

• Players may use a side deck of 15 cards and 1 Champion that may be used to supplement/replace cards in their main deck.
